Luxury detached stable conversion in secluded grounds. Idyllic location overlooking water meadows, river, woods, and fields. Use of terrace & walled garden.
The Stable is beautifully situated in the grounds of The Old Parsonage. From the peaceful hamlet of Houghton St Giles it is only a mile by road or by a pleasant walk along the old railway line to the shops, pubs and cafes of Walsingham. There are lovely walks in the immediate vicinity of the Stable. The sea, Burnham Market and Holt are a twenty minute drive away.
The Stable is a spacious building, designed by an award-winning architect, tastefully furnished and well equipped. On the ground floor is a double height studio with a big schoolroom window and french doors to the terrace. It has under floor heating. The wood burning stove is largely superfluous, but cosy in winter. The separate kitchen is equipped with Belfast sink, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble drier. The bathroom has shower, handbasin and WC.
On the 30ft x 16ft first floor is a comfortably furnished sitting area with TV, DVD, video and radiocassetteCD player. The sleeping area has a king size bed with crisp cotton bedlinen. Whilst the Stable is luxurious for two adults there is plenty of room for one or two small children in a single bed and a folding bed. A cot can be provided. Linen, towels and heating are included.
The terrace and the large, totally enclosed walled garden both have tables and chairs and benches for al fresco eating and drinking.
There is ample off road parking.
