Swanton Morley
Swanton Morley, situated in the heart of Norfolk, was mentioned in the Domesday Book as having a "church with one and a half acres, worth two pence". It is now a large but rural parish, three miles north east from the market town of East Dereham, 12 miles east of Swaffham and 16 miles west from the 'fine city of Norwich'.
Our village is the ideal base from which to enjoy your stay in Norfolk, and has many great local services. These include the impressive Mediaeval church dating to around the late 1300's, the reknowned Mill Bakery, a high class butcher, delicatessen, village stores, and two fantastic country pubs within walking distance. There are many lovely walks nearby, and cycle routes which take you down quiet lanes or across country. If you wish to explore further afield, then most of the North Norfolk coast is within half an hour's drive, and the nearby A47 makes the whole of the county easily accessible.

Maple Barns is a stunning barn conversion forming two luxury holiday lets, set around the court-yard of The Limes, a Victorian coach-house. We are situated in the centre of the village of Swanton Morley, which in turn is in the heart of beautiful rural Norfolk.
With children and dogs welcome, you'll enjoy the peace and tranquility of rural village life in what is one of Englands finest country retreats. Escape from the hussle and bussle of modern day City life, and enjoy the rewards on offer from the unspoilt countryside.
Relax in front of the wood burning stove on luxurious leather sofas in the spacious oak floored lounge, and watch a DVD on the modern flat-screen TV. The slate floored kitchen, whilst retaining the original characteristics of the old barn, is fully equipped with all the top quality appliances and utensils for modern day living. These include dishwasher, washing machine/dryer,and microwave, and a solid wood circular table for family dining in front of the wood burning stove. In addition to the wood burning stove, the barns are fully centrally heated to ensure maximum comfort throughout your stay.
French doors open out from the lounge onto a private patio, BBQ, and garden, which has lovely views across the Norfolk countryside.
The upstairs double bedrooms are ensuite and feature a beautiful solid Elm four poster bed. Relax into the finest cotton bed linen and watch your favourite programme on the wall mounted TV/DVD combi for the ultimate in luxury and comfort. The ensuite has slate floor with built in shower and WC.
Included in this package is the use of the fully equipped gymnasium, available exclusively to guests at their convenience.
