Docking
The village of Docking is situated in scenic countryside near the charming town of Burnham Market, and Brancaster beach is only 4 miles away. North West Norfolk offers unspoiled countryside, long sandy beaches, famous nature reserves and, above all, a real chance to relax and get away from it all. Throughout the countryside you will find friendly pubs, antique shops, local markets and of course Sandringham House, Holkam Hall, Houghton Hall and so much more. Docking has a cosy country pub called the Railway Inn, which serves superb home cooked food. There is an excellent village store (with post office) only a very short walk away - opens 8 am -10 pm. At the other end of the village, approximately fifteen minutes walk, is a tasty fish & chip shop and also the Pilgrim’s Reach restaurant. If you prefer to catch your own fish you can book a fishing trip and cook it fresh in the cottage kitchen, or invite Rick Stein!! Docking is an ideal base from which to explore all that North West Norfolk has to offer.
