Docking
The village of Docking is situated in scenic countryside near the charming town of Burnham Market, and Brancaster beach is only 4 miles away.
North West Norfolk offers unspoiled countryside, long sandy beaches, famous nature reserves and, above all, a real chance to relax and get away from it all.
Throughout the countryside you will find friendly pubs, antique shops, local markets and of course Sandringham House, Holkam Hall, Houghton Hall and so much more.
Docking has a cosy country pub called the Railway Inn, which serves superb home cooked food. There is an excellent village store (with post office) only a very short walk away - opens 8 am -10 pm.
At the other end of the village, approximately fifteen minutes walk, is a tasty fish & chip shop and also the Pilgrim’s Reach restaurant. If you prefer to catch your own fish you can book a fishing trip and cook it fresh in the cottage kitchen, or invite Rick Stein!!
Docking is an ideal base from which to explore all that North West Norfolk has to offer.

MARIGOLD COTTAGE
The cottage has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard to provide light and spacious living accommodation. A 'Home from Home'. Delicious Welcome pack,complimentary 'Sanctuary' bath products, body lotion,hand cream,hand wash and crisp cotton linen is provided for your stay. Wireless broadband internet connection availiable.
Marigold cottage is ideally situated to explore the North Norfolk Coastline only 4 miles away with some of the most beautiful beaches in England, in particular Holkham beach.The coastal walks and bird watching at Titchwell,beaches of Brancaster and the famous Georgian village of Burnham Market are an 8-10 mins drive away.
DOWNSTAIRS
The cottage has a newly fitted hand painted kitchen with oak worktops, Belfast sink, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is an open plan dining area with oak flooring, dining table and six chairs.Radio and C.D player.
The living room has beams to ceilings, oak flooring and fossil stone hearth housing a 'Clearview' woodburning stove for those cosy Winter evenings. Wide screen T.V, DVD Player, a selection of children's DVD's, a box of children's toys, games, well stocked book shelf, two large comfortable sofas, coffee tables and lamps.
UPSTAIRS
Three comfortable bedrooms, one with a kingsize oak bed and wooden cot, one with a wooden double bed,a single bedroom and a single camp guest bed also available.Hand painted wardrobes, oak bedside tables, lamps and pictures of Norfolk scenes.
Luxurious,white cotton linen is provided for your stay. You will need to supply your own towels.
A newly fitted white bathroom suite comprises victorian style roll top bath with mixer taps and shower head, pedestal basin, high level WC, shaver point and marble flooring.
'Sanctuary' bath and body products.
There is a single pull out guest bed, highchair, wooden cot, stairgate and pushchair. We also provide a picnic basket, cool box and blanket for guests to use.
OUTSIDE
The private rear garden is fully enclosed with raised decking area, garden furniture, barbeque and flower beds, perfect for those lazy spring Summer afternoons and Al fresco dining.
There is ample off road parking to the side of the property and space for a boat
LOCATION
The cottage is situated in a peaceful location down a quiet, leafy lane, overlooking Major Hare's Estate parkland. It is within walking distance of a good village shop, Pub, Doctors surgery, Church, Docking Angling Club, Fish & chip shop,Children's Playground and tennis courts.
Friday change over day. No smoking. Sorry no pets. 3,4 and 5 day breaks availiable.
