Sheringham
Sheringham is a small, charming market town on the North Norfolk coast.
There is an excellent range of shops in the town, including interesting clothes shops, a fine bookshop, two chemists, two supermarkets, health food shop and several specialist food stores. There is a delightful Saturday market, with a smaller one on Wednesdays.
Sheringham offers all the convenience of excellent services including the nearby health centre and dentists surgery.
Sheringham has a beautiful golf course beside the sea and both an indoor and an outdoor bowls club.

Alverstone is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre and beach. All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished. En-suite / standard rooms available, with colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hair-dryer, mini-coolers, radio clock alarm and robes.
Full English breakfast/kippers/ haddock and vegetarians also catered for.
Open all year - except Christmas and New Year.

Situated on the North Norfolk Coast Sheringham is a quaint unspoilt town. There is a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also we have the "The Little Theatre" which offers varied entertainment in the evenings. There is also a market on Saturdays, and Wednesdays (in summer). Upper Sheringham has the National Trust's Sheringham Park. Cromer is about 5 miles away with it's Pier, Seaside Special Theatre and Regal Cinema.
The City of Norwich is 25 miles away with it's Castle, Cathedral and excellent shops
Sheringham is within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads, Blakeney Point, Blickling, Felbrigg & Holkham Hall. |
