Catfield
Catfield is located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads approximately 17 miles from the Cathedral City of Norwich and close to the north Norfolk coast.
The village of Catfield boasts a 14th century church with a painted rood screen, a Primary school, a Post Office and a pub!
Many National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park, Horsey Windmill and the Elizabethan House Museum in Great Yarmouth are all within easy reach.
If you are interested in nature then How Hill the Environmental Education Centre of the Broads is only two miles away and Hickling Broad is just across the A149.
If sailing is more your thing you can hire boats from Potter Heigham, Ludham, Wayford Bridge or Wroxham - all a short drive away. As well as the pub there are many places to grab a bite to eat: Al Fresco tea room in Ludham, Taps Steakhouse and Restaurant and Bure River Fish Restaurant both in Horning, many takeaways in Stalham and quite a number of pubs in the surrounding villages of Sutton, Ludham, Ingham, Hickling, Smallburgh and Neatishead.
Finally if you want to test out your stamina try Bewilderwood in Horning for something a little different.
