Docking
The village of Docking is situated in scenic countryside near the charming town of Burnham Market, and Brancaster beach is only 4 miles away.
North West Norfolk offers unspoiled countryside, long sandy beaches, famous nature reserves and, above all, a real chance to relax and get away from it all.
Throughout the countryside you will find friendly pubs, antique shops, local markets and of course Sandringham House, Holkam Hall, Houghton Hall and so much more.
Docking has a cosy country pub called the Railway Inn, which serves superb home cooked food. There is an excellent village store (with post office) only a very short walk away - opens 8 am -10 pm.
At the other end of the village, approximately fifteen minutes walk, is a tasty fish & chip shop and also the Pilgrim’s Reach restaurant. If you prefer to catch your own fish you can book a fishing trip and cook it fresh in the cottage kitchen, or invite Rick Stein!!
Docking is an ideal base from which to explore all that North West Norfolk has to offer.

Ideal base to explore this lovely area. The cottages are set back off the road in a large shingle courtyard with small enclosed front gardens. Spacious living room with open fire, kitchendiner both with central heating. Double bedroom with bedside draw units, wardrobe and dressing table. Twin bedroom with full size beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. One has a bathroom with full size bath basin, toilet and electric wall heater, the other a shower room with basin and toilet and heated towel rail, both bathrooms upstairs. Towels and linen included. What a fantastic little cottage, perfect for our first family holiday with two little boys, very homely place with everything we needed. Docking is a lovey village with everything you could want, we will be back.
