Blakeney
Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt.
This part of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ANOB and the marshes and wide open spaces around Blakeney make it a haven for migratory birds and wildlife.
Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There are two hotels, a number of holiday cottages to rent, and several B&Bs.
The village has a strong identity, and is a thriving and active community. There is a small supermarket, butchers, fishmongers, and chandlers, pubs and a post office as well a range of shops for holidaymakers – please follow the links to access local information.
Blakeney is popular with dinghy sailors, bird watchers and walkers, and you can get a real feel for the area by taking a trip to Blakeney Point to see the seals. |

Built in the local brick-and-flint style, Mount Cottage is a comfortable and well-furnished character holiday home.
Downstairs, the accommodation comprises both an outer and inner hall; a very spacious lounge; a large eat-in kitchen; a shower-room with wc and hand basin. Upstairs, off the large landing, there are three good-sized bedrooms - one with a king bed, and also has a hand basin, and two with twin beds. The bathroom has an overbath electric shower, basin and wc. A high chair and travel cot are available at the cottage.
Thoughtfully and extensively equipped, the cottage is furnished to give our guests a very comfortable holiday. Facilities in the integrated kitchen include an electric cooker with a double-oven; dishwasher; microwave; fridge freezer; washing machine and TV with DVD and Freesat. In the lounge there is a TV with Freesat; VCR; DVD; mini hi-fi and in the inner hall is a telephone, for incoming calls only.
The cottage is heated electrically throughout and the costs for this are included in the price. The beds are made up for your arrival and towels are provided for each guest, excluding beach towels. We do not, however, provide linen and towels for the cot.
Outside there is a small patio area by the entrance and free parking is available nearby. Regret no smoking in the cottage nor pets.
