DRINKING - The King’s Head Holt is proud to be a proper community pub.
We know that there are times when you simply need to let off steam, and with the pool table, darts board, flat-screen TVs and all sorts of bar games, our aim is to help you to do just that. Plenty of local sports teams meet up in the main bar and the pub is the proud sponsor of the local football side, Holt United FC.
There’s a long bar area for those of you who like a good lean, or if you prefer a cosy chat, there’s a comfortable snug which looks out on to the garden. In the winter you can warm yourselves up by the fires in the rooms to the left of the entrance, and in the summer the large beer garden is perfect for enjoying a pint or two in the sunshine.
And because we like to look after local businesses, you’ll find all sorts of Norfolk ales on offer here, from Adnams Best and Bitter to Woodforde’s Wherry and Yetman’s.
EATING
At The King’s Head Holt you can be sure of fabulous food that’s also great value. Adam Chapman and his team rustle up all sorts of delicious dishes from scratch, with a real push for flavour rather than aiming for art on a plate. They buy in whole pigs and lambs from local farmers and work their magic on the menus, creating dishes according to what’s fresh, seasonal and available.
SLEEPING
The King's Head Holt now has three brand new B&B rooms. Stylish and comfortable, with fabulous funky bathrooms, they're also easy on the wallet. Two of the rooms sleep up to four people, ideal for families or groups of friends. |
