THE PADDOCKS
The Paddocks consist of three self-catering cottages with heated indoor pool:-The Stiffkey Barn sleeps 6 Wensum Barn,sleeps 4 Stable Barn,sleeps 6 and Kilnsleeps 2
STIFFKEY BARN
This cottage sleeps 6 people. It has 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a toilet and wash basin. The bathroom has a bath with a hand held shower attachment. There is a spacious sitting dining roomkitchen. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.
WENSUM BARN
Wensum Barn sleeps 4 people. There is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. It has a kitchen and the bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. The living area comprises a large open plan sittingdining room.
STABLE BARN
This cottage sleeps 6 people. It has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin. The bathroom has a bath with a hand held shower attachment. There is a large sitting dining roomkitchen area.
FACILITIES
All cottages are fully oil-fired centrally heated and equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven. There is a TV, radio, video recorder and DVD player in each cottage. Cots and highchairs are available by arrangement. There is a shared garden with a barbecue for each cottage. Adjacent to the cottage is a small area with playground equipment set in a large grassed play area. For that special family occasion, or for any large party, when all cottages are booked together we are able to offer a large table sitting 16 people which is accommodated in the Wensum Barn. This can also be made available if Wensum Barn is let with either the Stable or Stiffkey Barn.
KILN BARN
A delightful self-contained renovated 1 bedroom self-catering cottage with ensuite walk in showeroom, open plan livingkitchen area with dishwasher, T.V. Freeview and DVD and wireless internet connection. Outside there is a private patio area with seating and ample parking for 1 car.
SWIMMING POOL
There is an indoor heated swimming pool approximately 10 metres by 5 metres and slopes in a constant plane from 1 metre to to 2 metres in depth.lt has easy access with 'Roman Steps' and a large safety grab handle. Whilst this enables the energetic to have good swim, it also means that there is a safe area for toddlers. The pool is permanently heated to a pleasant 88° and is housed in a conservatory-style structure with direct access from a small changing room with shower and toilet. The pool is open from February half-term until 31st October, plus Christmas and New Year periods. It is available from 8.00am until 7.00pm or dusk, which ever is earlier, and all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must ensure they have a swimming buddie.
INTERNET ROOM
A purpose-built internet room with broadband access is available for those wishing to use email or search the web. Visitors with laptop computers can gain access using the wireless network. Details at reception.
LOCATION
It is within easy driving distance of the historic City of Norwich listed as one of the top ten shopping centres in the country, and just 10 miles from the North Norfolk Coast either the beautiful sand dunes and acres of soft sand at Holkham Beach, or the more traditional seaside town of Cromer and numerous other attractions.
The wide open skies and seascapes of Norfolk have justifiably become famous in art and on film. Whether you are painting, sailing, riding, walking, cycling Norfolk is flat!, bird watching or just generally getting away from it all, the North Norfolk Coast and countryside offer you all that you could desire.
WALKING
For those who like walking, we have on our doorstep the benefit of long walks.
Children's Play The cottages stand in an acre of ground, with a children's playground plus a large, grassy play area.
