Little Walsingham There have been pilgrimages to Our Lady of Walsingham for hundreds of years, the consequence of a vision of the Virgin Mary by the widow of a Norman knight, Richeldis de Favarches in 1061.
This is a large and active village, particularly over religious festivals. Little Walsingham’s high street is largely medieval, with red-brick and timber framed houses, whitewashed fronts and pantiled roofs.

CHARISMA COTTAGE is a delightful cottage tucked away just off the High Street in the centre of this historic ecclesiastical village. The ground floor accommodation is laid out to an open plan design with a spiral staircase leading to two first floor bedrooms and a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard garden and two parking spaces. The property was built c1800, originally belonging to the Catholic Church it was a cattle barn. The sitting room area has an exposed brick chimney breast with a French wood-burning stove. There are exposed beams, an old pine cattle feeder, a flagstone tiled floor, and two economy 7 storage heaters. It is a very cosy cottage.
