Blakeney
Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt. This part of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ANOB and the marshes and wide open spaces around Blakeney make it a haven for migratory birds and wildlife. Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There are two hotels, a number of holiday cottages to rent, and several B&Bs. The village has a strong identity, and is a thriving and active community. There is a small supermarket, butchers, fishmongers, and chandlers, pubs and a post office as well a range of shops for holidaymakers – please follow the links to access local information. Blakeney is popular with dinghy sailors, bird watchers and walkers, and you can get a real feel for the area by taking a trip to Blakeney Point to see the seals.

BAR & CONSERVATORY
Lunch and supper, seven days a week, our team of Bar Chefs produce an extensive homecooked bar menu with something for everyone.

Local shellfish feature strongly, simply cooked mussels through the winter months and crabs in spring and summer.
A blackboard of daily specials with the accent on fish compliments the printed menu.

Guests can eat either in the informal, bustling bar, the light, airy conservatory or when the sunshine allows, in our lovely secluded patio garden.

THE STABLES RESTAURANT
From a second kitchen Chris Hyde is proud to use local supply lines:again, all the shellfish and much of the fish come from fishermen along the coast, game is from local estates as is asparagus in season.

Service has been described as friendly and unrushed by the Good Food Guide.

The restaurant is open every evening from 7.00pm.
Advance booking is highly recommended.
